I’ve been involved in the image keywording industry for years, both as a keywording specialist and taxonomy manager.
I keyworded nearly 250,000 images for my last company. Yep, really, almost a quarter of a million images. I also managed the taxonomy for that company for four years.
Early in 2011, it became obvious it was time to start my own company and develop a new and revolutionary image keywording tool.
My goal with this blog is to cover all the intricacies and subtleties of keywording images. While my experience is primarily with images, most of the concepts can be applied to video as well.
While I might tend to focus on stock photographers who have the most to gain from my experience by putting these practices to use to increase their earning, all the principles I cover apply to anyone who has to manage an image library.
